Day 1 : Arrival at Bagdogra – Transfer to Gangtok (Approx. 5-6 hours drive)

Welcome to the Eastern Himalayas!
As you arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB), breathe in the crisp mountain air and begin your scenic drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Surrounded by lush greenery and snow-capped peaks, the journey itself is a visual treat with panoramic views of the Teesta River snaking alongside the road.
Evening at Leisure:
• Stroll around the MG Marg, Gangtok's bustling promenade filled with cafés, boutiques, and local crafts.
• Try authentic Sikkimese cuisine like momos and thukpa.

Day 2 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir

(Optional: Nathu La Pass – Extra permit & cost, subject to weather & border regulations)
Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake):
Located at an altitude of 12,310 ft, this glacial lake is revered by locals and changes color with the seasons. The ethereal turquoise water set against a backdrop of snowy mountains is unforgettable. You might even see yaks offering rides around the lake!
Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir:
A temple built in honor of an Indian Army soldier believed to be a guardian spirit of the region. This unique place combines spirituality, patriotism, and legend.
Optional: Nathu La Pass (14,140 ft)
• A historic mountain pass on the old Silk Route connecting India and Tibet.
• Requires a special permit (not available for foreign nationals).

Day 3 : Full Day Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Get ready to explore the best of Gangtok’s attractions:

2. Ganesh Tok & Hanuman Tok – Scenic hilltop temples with sweeping panoramic vistas of Gangtok and beyond.
3. Enchey Monastery – A 200-year-old Buddhist monastery known for its peace and spiritual ambiance. Home to tantric rituals and mask dances.
4. Flower Exhibition Centre – Bursting with seasonal blooms including orchids, anthuriums, and more.

Day 4 : Transfer from Gangtok to Darjeeling (Approx. 4 hours)

Bid adieu to Sikkim and head towards the Queen of the Hills – Darjeeling.

Upon arrival, check-in and relax. Explore the Chowrasta (Mall Road) in the evening.

Day 5 : Full Day Darjeeling Sightseeing

Sunrise at Tiger Hill (4:00 AM):

Day 6 : Darjeeling to Bagdogra via Mirik & Pashupati Market (Nepal Border)

Begin your return journey with enriching stops:
Mirik Lake (Sumendu Lake):
A tranquil high-altitude lake surrounded by pine trees and orange orchards. You can enjoy a paddle boat ride or just relax by the lakeside.
Pashupati Nath Market (Nepal Border – carry ID):
A bustling bazaar famous for electronics, cosmetics, clothing, and imported goods. A shopping paradise at the Indo-Nepal border!
After shopping and sightseeing, continue your journey to Bagdogra Airport for your onward flight.
