Today, on arrival at Jammu Tawi Railway Station, get pick up by our driver and Transferred from Katra to Pahalgam called as “Valley of Shepherds”. Enjoy this mesmerizing drive through the scenic trails that connect Srinagar and Pahalgam. While en route, you might even get the opportunity to visit the saffron fields around. This spot is among one of the popular hill stations in India, and there is more than one reason for that. Also known as the Valley of Shepherds, Pahalgam will surprise you with its old world charm. Upon arrival at Pahalgam valley, you can check in at hotel, freshen up & leave for sightseeing to explore surrounding places & amazing market place of Pahalgam. In Pahalgam, Enjoy the nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Return back to Srinagar for overnight stay at Hotel.
Today after breakfast, enjoy your day in local sightseeing at Pahalgam Covering below destinations. Here, due to local union restrictions, you need to hire a Small cab like Maruti van for below 3 points (Approx.INR 2500 Directly Payable).
Chandanwari : Make Chandanwari your first stop and enjoy a scenic view of the mountains and Lidder river. The valley also serves as the commencement point for Amarnath Yatra every year from June to August. During this time the valley is flooded with thousands of devotees. However, if chaos is not your gig, then visit the valley between November and May to enjoy the tranquil ambiance. You can camp along the Lidder River and explore the lakes, glaciers, and waterfalls close by.
Betaab Valley: Make a quick stop at the pristine Betaab Valley located between Pahalgam and Chandanwari.The valley gained prominence after being featured in Amrita Singh-Sunny Deol starrer Bollywoodfilm Betaab. It is at a walkable distance from Pahalgam and also serves as a base camp for several nearby treks.
Aru Valley : Aru Valley is another famous valley in Pahalgam that serves as a base camp for Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake trek. During winters you can indulge in thrilling snow activities like skiing and Heli skiing. Whereas, during the summers you can go fishing in the Aru River.
Today after breakfast, get transferred to Srinagar. Evening, enjoy 01 Hour Boat Ride on Dal Lake by a gondola Boat called ”SHIKARA” witness the ride on lake, called Venice of India & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Also see the scenic extravaganza of the Kashmir and enjoy the profusion of colors in the Paradise on Earth. While returning visit to the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machie & wood of a walnut. Visit Mughal Garden "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure) and "Shalimar" (Abode of All), Pari Mahal. Overnight at the Hotel.
Full Day return excursion to Gulmarg, called as “Meadow of Flowers” Gulmarg is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. Gulmarg also referred as Meadow of Flowers is a famous Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. The place was prominent during the British time. Enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Ride – OPTIONAL (Gondola) Return to Srinagar for a Dinner & Overnight at the Hotel.
After breakfast leave with a full-day excursion for Sonamarg. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahseer. Ponies (Directly payable) can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Return for Dinner & overnight stay at HB / Hotel.
After breakfast leave with full day excursion for Doodhpathri or “Valley of Milk”, situated 40 kms from Srinagar is definitely an unexplored place in Kashmir. The beautiful and enchanting place, the green meadows, pristine environment and serenity. A river cascading down the pebbles is a walk of 5 minutes from the parking. The place is quite secluded, you can rent a tent and set up a camping station. The best thing to enjoy here is the ride on horses to the bottom of snow covered mountains and trekking. Return for Dinner & overnight stay at HB / Hotel.
Today morning, after breakfast, spend a little time in Srinagar for local Shopping or Local Sightseeing. Later, get transfer to Jammu. Followed by drop at Jammu railway Station.
