On Arrival at Bangalore, Our Driver will meet all tour guests and proceed to Mysore - known as The City of Palaces, which is the second fastest-growing city in Karnataka after Bangalore. Today we visit Brindavan Gardens - famous for its symmetric design and illuminate terrace gardens.
Today we visit Chamundi Temple – an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to the Goddess Chamundi. Later we visit Mysore Zoo - one of the oldest and most famous zoos in India and home to a wide range of species, followed by a visit to Mysore Palace - a historical palace and the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty who ruled the Kingdom of Mysore. In the afternoon, we proceed to Ooty - known as ‘Queen of hill stations’. We drive through Bandipur National Park, where we may get a chance to view wildlife like deer, elephants, wild boar, jackal, etc.
Today we do a full-day excursion to Coonoor - a beautiful hill station which is known for its production of Nilgiri tea. Upon arrival in Coonoor, we visit Dolphin’s nose - a huge rock formation that resembles the nose of a dolphin, followed by a visit to Sim’s Park - home to 1000 plus species of colourful and vibrant flowers. Later we visit Doddabetta Peak to see the marvelous views of the sweeping forests of Bandipur National Park and the open highlands of Mysore. In the evening, we enjoy a boat ride in the picturesque Ooty Lake - an important tourist landmark in the earlier days of Bollywood.
Today we visit the splendid Government Botanical Gardens - spread over an area of 55 acres, it has around a thousand species of both exotic and indigenous plants. Later we proceed to Coorg - also known as the Scotland of India.
Today we visit Dubare Elephant Camp, which is primarily an elephant-capturing and training camp of the forest department at the edge of Dubare forest, followed by a visit to Kushal Nagar Monastery - the second biggest monastery in India after Tawang Monastery. Later we visit Abbey waterfalls - nestled between coffee and spice plantations, the waterfall is a combination of many streams that come together and fall into a pool of water that flows and merges into River Kaveri. Then we visit Raja’s seat – it offers a breathtaking view of towering hills, green valleys, studded with paddy fields.
Today we visit the coffee plantation at Coorg and proceed to Bangalore - popularly known as the ‘Silicon Valley’ of India for being a major IT hub of the nation. Upon arrival, we have free time for relaxing and exploring the surroundings.
Today we visit Tipu Sultan’s summer palace - an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu Sultan. Later we visit HAL Aerospace Museum - a museum cum heritage centre exclusively meant for preserving the heritage of the aviation industry. It’s time now to say goodbye! Later, get dropped at Bangalore Airport.
