Day 1Guwahati – Nameri National Park (Bhalukpong)

On arrival at Guwahati, drive to Bhalukpong is the border of the states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh is a place of enthralling scenic beauty. The sparkling river Jia Bharali which passes through Bhalukpong is an adventure lover’s paradise. By the side of the river is he Nameri National Park which falls under Project Tiger. Overnight will be at Nameri (Bhalukpong)

Day 2Nameri(Bhalukpong) – Dirang

At morning after breakfast transfer to Dirang (200km 7hrs). En-route visit Tipi Orchidarium, a glass house with over 7500 Orchids. Overnight stay in Hotel in Dirang.

Day 3Dirang –Tawang

At morning after breakfast visit proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft) for Tawang spend some lovely times by the paradise lake. Reaching Tawang (143 km, 7hrs) check in at Hotel Overnight at Tawang.

Day 4Tawang Local sightseeing

After breakfast visit of 400 years (17th century) old Tawang Monastery which is the second largest monastery in the world after Potala Palace in Tibet. The building is about 113 feet longand 80 feet wide and houses valuable antiquities, books and manuscripts-handwritten and printed. Later visit Tawang War Memorial, a 40 foot high multi-hued memorial, has a structure constructed in stupa design. Dedicated to the martyrs of Sino-Indo War held in 1962, this memorial is nestled among beautiful peaks, which overlooks the Tawang Gompa.. Rest of the day free to stroll round the streets of the town. Overnight in Tawang

Day 5Tawang

Visit Maduri lake,China Border, & The Tawang Gompa is definitely the high point of the town, with a commanding view of the splendid valleys beyond. Also visit the War memorial. Evening free for shopping and leisure. Overnight in Tawang. Tawang is a mountain town in Asia. India considers it to be part of the state of Arunachal Pradesh, while China claims it as part of South Tibet. It’s home to the 17th-century Tawang Monastery, a hilltop structure housing a massive gilded Buddha statue. The War Memorial commemorates soldiers who died in the 1962 Chinese-Indian War. Nearby, tranquil Penga Teng Tso (P. T. Tso) Lake attracts migratory birds in summer

Day 6Tawang

After breakfast explore Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso during 17th Century A.D. a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama. Evening free for leisure or shopping in the local market. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 7Tawang – Bomdila

Early morning, drive to Jang to get a breath taking view of waterfalls. Pay homage at the Jashwant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial and down hill drive (185km, 7hrs) to Bomdila. Overnight at Hotel at Bomdila.

Day 8Bomdila Sightseeing to Itanagar

Today after breakfast check out from the Hotel of Bomdila and take cover Bomdila View Point. Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery and Drive to Itanagar Itanagar is the capital of the northeast Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Set in the foothills of the Himalayas, the city is home to medieval Ita Fort and the Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum, which exhibits textiles and handicrafts. The nearby Gompa, a yellow-roofed Buddhist temple, was consecrated by the Dalai Lama.

Day 9Itanagar Sightseeing and drive to Ziro

After breakfast Check out from the hotel, Transfer to Ziro. Overnight at Ziro.

Day 10Ziro

After breakfast , Visit the Talley valley Wildlife Sanctuary home to several endangered animals such as the clouded leopard. Visit the 5,000 year-old Meghna Cave Temple and then spend your day strolling around pine tree forested Midey. Next up, visit Ziro Puto the place where the first administrative center was set up after India’s independence.

Day 11Ziro - Tezpur

After your breakfast, leave for Tezpur. Reach Tezpur we check in at city hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at Tezpur.

Day 12Tezpur – Kaziranga

After Breakfast, transfer to Kaziranga National Park: In the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment. Evening visit tea garden near by the park. Overnight stay in resort in Kaziranga.

Day 13Jungle Activity at Kaziranga National Park

After an early wake up, you will be taken to the riding point in the Central Range (Kohora) for an Elephant Ride. After the ride return back to the Resort. After breakfast drive to the Central Range of the park for a jeep safari. Evening visit Assamese ethnic village. Overnight stay in resort in Kaziranga. Day 14Kaziranga National Park to Majuli

Morning after breakfast depart by car for Majuli. En-route crossing mighty Brahmaputra River by ferry. Arrive and check in at the traditionally built cottages. Afternoon explore Majuli visiting the Satras, the birth place of Vaishnavite culture in Assam and the tribal villages. Evening visit to a nearby sand beach in Brahmaputra to witness the sunset. Dinner and overnight at the resort.(As per the availability of the room it might be at Neemati in that case we have to cross the Brahmaputra that will take another 1 ½ hrs, timing of the ferry depends on the river condition stay in Majuli .

Day 15Majuli Sightseeing to Guwahati

Morning after breakfast Check out From the Hotel and Drive to Guwhati Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. Day 16Guwahati to Shillong

After Breakfast Check out From the Hotel and take Transfer to Shillong, also known as ‘The Scotland of the East’ is the capital city of Meghalaya. En route you will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India Shillong. Shillong is a hill station in northeast India and capital of the state of Meghalaya. It’s known for the manicured gardens at Lady Hydari Park. Nearby, Ward’s Lake is surrounded by walking trails. North, the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures features displays on the region’s native people – Umium Lake. Reaching Shillong after 3 hours journey (approximately), we check-in at a city Hotel. After freshen up visit Cathedral of Marry & the Polo Ground. Evening free for leisure or for shopping in the famous Police Bazaar in Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 17Shillong to Cherrapunjee - Shillong

Morning After Breakfast mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee, also known as Sohra, is a high-altitude town in the northeast Indian state of Meghalaya. It’s known for its living root bridges, made from rubber trees. To the northeast, Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point overlooks verdant gorges. In the surrounding hills, the Noh-Kalikai, Dain-Thlen and Kynrem waterfalls plunge from forested clifftops. South of town, Mawsmai Cave is illuminated to show its stalagmites. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Eco Park, Seven Sisters falls, Ram Krishna Mission and the Thangkharang Park . Back to Shillong.

Day 18Shillong -Mawlynnong-Dawki- Shillong

Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong. Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. After lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. it is a splendid drive of 45 kilometres passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river, he Umngot river is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single span suspension bridge was constructed. Later back to Shillong . Overnight at Shillong.

Day 19Shillong Local Sightseeing to Guwahati

Wake up early and have your breakfast visit Don Bosco Museum, Meghalaya State Museum where Meghalaya’s tribal culture and heritage are well displayed, Lady Hyadri Park, Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls & transfer to Guwahati .

Day 20Guwahati Drop

Early Morning Visit Maa Kamakhya Temple. Later, get drop at Guwahati Airport
