Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet our representative and begin your short transfer to Negombo, located approximately 7 km from the airport.With its beautiful coastline, traditional fishing culture, lagoon, and Portuguese and Dutch colonial influences, Negombo is an excellent place to begin your Sri Lankan holiday.After reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and take some time to relax after your journey.Later, enjoy a leisurely walk along Negombo Beach, where you can experience the refreshing sea breeze and beautiful coastal atmosphere. After breakfast, check out and begin your journey towards Sigiriya, travelling approximately 170 km through the Sri Lankan countryside.The landscape gradually changes as you move inland, passing through villages, tropical vegetation, agricultural areas, and lush forests.Upon arrival, explore the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka's most iconic landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Often described as the "Lion Rock," Sigiriya is a spectacular ancient citadel built on top of a massive rock rising approximately 200 metres above the surrounding plains.Begin your ascent through the historic entrance and climb the ancient stairways towards the summit.   • Any additional cost arising due to natural calamities, landslides, road blockages, political disturbances, or fuel price hikes. Such expenses shall be borne by the guest directly on an actual basis

Payment Policy

To ensure timely confirmations of hotels, flights, and other travel services, the following payment schedule applies to all customized holiday bookings:
  • 40% of the total package cost at the time of booking confirmation.
  • 80% of the total package cost must be paid 30 days prior to departure.
  • 100% of the total package cost must be cleared 20 days prior to departure.
Please Note:
  • Certain hotels, airlines, cruises, luxury resorts, peak-season bookings, visas, or special services may require a higher advance or full payment at the time of booking. The applicable payment terms will be communicated during the booking process.
  • Bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed only upon receipt of the required payment.
  • Failure to make payments within the stipulated timelines may result in automatic cancellation of the booking and applicable cancellation charges.

Cancellation Policy

As every HolidayAlong itinerary is specially customized and services are reserved in advance, the following cancellation charges shall apply:Cancellation Period Cancellation Charges

  • 30–16 days before departure 50% of the total package cost
  • 15–8 days before departure 75% of the total package cost
  • Less than 8 days before departure or No Show 100% of the total package cost
Important Notes:
  • Flight tickets, visa fees, travel insurance, permits, cruise bookings, train tickets, and other non-refundable services will be charged as per the respective supplier's cancellation policy.
  • During peak seasons, festive periods, long weekends, and special events, different cancellation terms may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • Any refund, if applicable, will be processed after receiving the refund from the respective service providers and may take 15–45 working days.
  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to support@holidayalong.com.

Important Notes

  • The foreign exchange component (if applicable) will be collected in Indian Rupees based on the prevailing forex card rate (XE.com Rate + INR 1.50) on the date of final payment. Foreign exchange will be arranged through an authorized dealer under the RBI's Basic Travel Quota (BTQ) guidelines.
  • All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment.
  • Package prices are subject to change due to airfare revisions, hotel tariffs, currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, Government taxes, or supplier price changes until full payment is received.
  • GST, TCS, and other applicable Government taxes will be charged as per prevailing regulations.
  • Passport validity of at least 6 months from the date of return is mandatory for international travel. Travelers are responsible for ensuring all travel documents are valid.
  • Visa approval is solely at the discretion of the respective Embassy/Consulate. HolidayAlong acts only as a facilitator and is not responsible for visa delays or rejections.
  • Hotels, airlines, sightseeing, transportation, and itinerary schedules are subject to operational changes without prior notice. Similar-category hotels may be provided if the originally quoted hotel is unavailable.
  • Flight fares are dynamic and subject to availability until ticket issuance. Any fare increase before ticketing shall be borne by the traveler.
  • Hotel check-in/check-out timings, room allocation, and refundable security deposits are governed by the respective hotel's policies.
  • Any city tax, tourism tax, resort fee, or local levy imposed by the destination or hotel shall be payable directly by the traveler unless specifically included.
  • No refund will be provided for unused or missed services. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed upon receipt of the same from the respective service providers.
  • HolidayAlong shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, additional expenses, or losses arising from weather conditions, natural disasters, flight disruptions, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, government regulations, or any other Force Majeure event beyond our control.
  • By confirming the booking and making the payment, the traveler acknowledges that they have read and accepted HolidayAlong's Payment Policy, Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and these Terms & Conditions.
